Shashiprakash

Shashi Prakash has had an interest in music from an early age. When he was in school, he used to play Dholak and sing in the school’s cultural programs. He is 39 years old and belongs to Aswanian, Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh. His father was a musician who used to play Dholak and harmonium. He learnt from his father. Then he started to attend and perform in different folk shows like lokgeet and Birha. Now he is an established musician who performs in different major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Surat and also in Nepal and his major income comes from his live performances.
