A vocalist who comes from a small town called Bareli in Raisen district of Madhya Pradesh, Mudit Chaturvedi has been practising music through his masterly vocal ability from a tender age of seven years. His family’s background in folk music was one of the major motivating factors that set a path in the field for him to explore. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Technocrats Institute of Technology in Bhopal along with the Sangeet Visharad Diploma in Indian classical vocals from Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, Khairagarh (C.G), in the year 2016. Eventually, he moved on to pursue his Master’s degree in music from Raja Man Singh Tomar University, Gwalior.

Mudit believes in strategizing his process of learning and evolving through inspired meticulous observation as well as consistent practice in his discipline with the help of Pt. Shri Siddhram Swami Korwar’s expertise in teaching the art. He extends his services as a musicologist and production head at Anahad and has gained a plethora of experience in managing as well as executing major projects such as Backpack studio and Equals sessions for the organization. The exposure gained at Anahad has been transformational for his music and also organizational and management skills. As an integral part of the core team, he travels and documents underprivileged folk musicians from various parts of the country. With an industrious attitude towards his work, he strives to have an impact on the lifestyle of artists who wish to work and empower their communities with their set of talents.

With the philosophy of providing support to the artists who are deprived of privileges and tools to gain professional experience in their crafts, Mudit aspires to be a driver of change for the indigent communities as well as the field of music and continues down the path with his intent towards creating an environment of sustainable development for the folk music genre.
