Sanjeev

Sanjeev, 20, is Kashmiri Lal’s nephew and Pawan’s brother. Sanjeev is an instrumental part of the group and has been into the business for 2 years. He started playing dholak 3-4 years back. His guru is Kashmiri Lal who taught him singing. His father and maternal uncle used to sing as well no wonders he developed an interest in it.  His inspiration is his maternal uncle, Man Singh Ji who was played dholak and taught him. Initially, he was reluctant to play music and singing and he treated it as a time-pass. But with time, he developed an interest in it and started appreciating it. Music brings him happiness and that’s what he feels the best about it. He doesn’t want pahadi music to change in any way and remain its originality.
