A music teacher and a music performer, Vijay Kumar is a 37-year-old Keys player from Lucknow. His father is a policeman. Initially, his family didn’t support him in pursuing music, but Vijay Kumar knew his passion. He learnt music and keys from Yakob Shastri and completed his bachelor’s in arts in harmonium from Bhatkhande University Lucknow. And he has a double master’s degree in Political Science and Psychology. Currently, he serves as a music teacher in schools like DPS and Saraswati Shishu Mandir. He regularly performs in different classical and semiclassical music shows.
