Indra Khan

Indra Khan,40, is Sakur Khan’s younger brother and has been singing since he was 4 years old. He plays harmonium, khartaal, and veena. He has travelled all over India for performances and has also performed in Paris, Turkey and Bahrain. Paris is among his favorite places to perform. Indra Khan believes that even musicians should continue their basic education till 12th standard. Indra Khan has 4 sons and he wishes to provide the basic school education which he considers necessary for making a living these days.
Indra Khan says that although people are fond of folk music, these people are just a small proportion of the huge population of India, which is the reason why folk music is losing its importance and is confined to mere hotel performances and Tourism propagandas. Their group genre is Sufi music and he is passionate about it.
