The Wangala Dance is a traditional dance performed by the Garo tribe in Meghalaya. During the Wangala Dance, men and women dress in traditional Garo attire, adorned with colorful garments, beadwork, and distinctive headgear. The participants form circles, moving in rhythmic patterns to the beats of drums and blowing horns. The dance symbolizes the community’s unity, prosperity, and thanksgiving for the agricultural yield.
