This is a Rasiya, a form of Braj Folk. Here the song has been used in Mayur Nritya, a very enchanting folk dance form of Braj depicting an episode of love between Radha and Krishna. In this song, the devotees and the gopis all are praising Lord Krishna and the mesmerising peacocks.

Lyrics –
Vrindavan bole mor
(Peacocks sing around in Vrindavan)
Gokul mein shor bhayo bhaari
(Their songs keep the town away from silence)
Udd udd mor kadamb pae chadh gaye
(The beautiful birds fly around and perch on kadam trees;
Baithe hain pankh marod marod gokul mein
(They fold their wings away once they settle on a branch)
Dhanya dhanya ye braj ke mora
(The peacocks of Braj are blessed,
Ja he rijhe nand kishor kishor
(They have a special place in Lord Krishna’s heart)
Lae kirki pirki so giri
(I am dancing around)
Ae ri aaye gayo mohe prem tamaaro
(I think I have completely lost myself in your love)
Mohan nain ke baan lage
(Mohan’s eyes have enchanted me)
Murjhaya giri koi aan sambhaaro
(I think I am going to faint, somebody please come and hold me)
Beer shareer ki yah gati hai gayi
(My body’s condition is like that)
Baidh mile mohe nand dulaaro
(I find Krishna everywhere)
Kholun ri ghunghat bolun kaha
(Why should I shy away from lifting my veil)
Baso aakhin mor ki pankhan baaro
(When Shyam has found his abode in my eyes)
Jhanak jhanak jhan nupur baaje
(My anklets ring, playing a music of their own)
Aur bansi rab ghanghor Gokul mein shor bhayo bhari
(And, the entire town of Gokul is blessed with the music of Krishna’s flute)
