This is a bhajan through which the singer is trying to carry the devotees for an enchanting trip to the world of Lord Krishna describing his beauty and charm. This song here is used in the Charkhula Nritya, a dance form of Braj which is believed to have started when Radharani’s grandmother celebrated her birth by carrying 108 diyas over a Charka on her head.

Lyrics –

Jug jug jive gori nachan hari
(All hail! The girls dance around Krishna)

Nachan hari ke dou dou hujo
(Look! Our Krishna has two roles)

Mukhdum aur patwari
(The respected and the landlord)

Jug jug jive gori nachan hari
(All hail! The girls dance around Krishna)

Jo rasiya mero aiso hoyego
(When my Krishna is such a delight to every heart)

Dungi paat tumhari
(Why will I not agree to everything?)

Jug jug jive gori nachan hari
(All hail! The girls dance around Krishna)

Puri upor buro dungi, Aalu ki tarkari
(I will cook a feast and serve delicacies)

Jug jug jive gori nachan hari
(All hail! The girls dance around Krishna)

Jai Radhe! Radhe! Radhe!
(All hail! Radhe! Radhe! Radhe!)

Jai Jai Shree Radhe!!
(All hail! Radhe! Radhe! Radhe!)

Shri Govardhan Maharaj
(Respected Govardhan Maharaj)

Kachhu makhan ko bal bado
(Some strength came from the butter)

Kachhu gopin kari sahaye
(Some came from the friends)

Shri Radhe ju ki krapa so
(With the grace of respected Radha Rani)

Maine girvar liyo uthaaye
(You picked up the Goverdhan mountain)

Shri govardhan Maharaj
(Respected Govardhan Maharaj)

Tere Maathe Mukut viraj rayo
(Your head is home to a royal crown)

To pe paan chadhe to pe phool chadhe
(Betel leaf and flowers are offered to you)

To pe bahe doodh ki dhaar
(And you are bathed in milk)

Tere Maathe Mukut viraj rayo
(Your head is home to a royal crown)

Tere kaanan kundal soh rahe
(Beautiful earrings adorn your ears)

Thhodi me heera laal
(And a diamond sits on your chin, ornamenting it)

Teri saat kos ki parkramma
(Your disciples walk 21 kilometers around Govardhan)

Aur chakleshwar vishram
(Their peace greets them at the end of those 21 kilometers)

Tere Maathe Mukut viraj rayo
(Your head is home to a royal crown, Govardhan Maharaj)
