The Mashak is a Rajasthani bagpipe made from a full-size goat skin. Its bamboo blowing pipe has five finger holes, fixed in the bag with wax. Played by blowing air through the mouth, the bag serves as an air chamber controlled by the musician’s arm pressure. Raju Nath & Group skillfully incorporate the hauntingly beautiful Mashak sounds, creating an immersive experience for their audience.
