Lyrics –
Keh diye krishna te jaa ke tera yaar bulawe se
(Tell Krishna that his friend is calling him)
Ek paate late aala manas tane bahar bulawe se
(A man with torn clothes calling you out)
Uste phetan ka mara mai hota phiroon biran
(Just to meet him I’m wandering around the village)
Toote litar pate kapde phiki padri shaan
(With the torn clothes I have lost the glow of my face)
Bhookh pyas mein vyakul ho ra mera nahin thikane dhyan
(I am so hungry and thirsty that I can’t think of anything now)
Tera naam sudama bata diye tu jaake dodivan
(Oh Guard, go and tell Krishna that my name is Sudama)
Usne phetan khatar kar ke tera pyar bulawe se
(His beloved friend is calling to meet him so eagerly)
Hum balak pan mein dono bhai gau charaya karte
(In childhood we both brothers used to take cows to graze)
Aapas mein tha prem ghana hum hans batlaya karte
(Days filled with love for each other we used to spend good time)
Uth savere gaunwa ke nit darshan paya karte
(Every early monring we used to go see cows)
Bhookh lage jab doodh ka hum piya khaya karte
(And whenever we felt hungry we used to drink cow’s milk)
Na ghani der ka kaam ghadi do chaar bulawe se
(I do not want to meet him for hours but just few moments)
Sun ke raji hojega teri meethi bani ne
(He will surely agree to meet me listening to my sweet voice)
Ghana chatar se aap jaan ja meri kahani ne
(Krishna will get to know about the visitor)
Tu ke jaane mhari aapas ki katha purani ne
(Well you won’t know about our childhood memories)
Krishna daure aaya bheja meri misrani ne
(Hey Krishna I have come to meet you as my wife has told me to do so)
Saari baat jaake keh diye tera dildaar bulawe se
(Tell him that his beloved friend has come to just see him)
Saachi saachi baat kahi jhooth bakawan aala konya
(All that I am saying is true and not lies)
Sahi jagah pe jaata dhakke khavan aala konya
(After a lot hardships i havee arrived to the right place)
Mamuli sa kaam mera iss gaavan aala konya
(I am s simple man and have only come to meet Krishna)
Soch samajh kehra su muh bakwan aala konya
(All that I am saying is true and not lies)
Shri jagannath bhi chhod kati ahankar bulawe se
(Tell Shri Jagannath says that Sudhama asks for him with no ego but pure love)
