Lyrics –

Thar thar kaampela thaar ke achhat
(The plate with rice (achhat) is shaking)

Abru genduava jud paani ae
(Now the flow of water will be one)

Thar thar kaampeli beti ho kawan deyi
(I shake as I do the rituals for my daughter)

More baba rachelain biaah re
(Her father has finalised this marriage)

Thar thar jaani kaampa thaar ke achhat
(The plate with rice (achhat) is shaking)

Abru genduava jud paani ae
(Now the flow of water will be one)

Thar thar jaani kaampa beti ho kavan beti
(I shake as I do the rituals for my daughter)

Karab hum dharam biaah re
(I will do my duty of doing this marriage)

Minti se boleli samdhi kawan rama
(Dear father in law of my daughter,i hereby request you)

Suni samdhi araj humaar re
(Listen to my request, oh father in law of my daughter)

Humro bitiyava raure ghare ke chiraiyava
(My daughter has been like a little bird in my house)
Hum raura ghar ke khawas re
(She is very special to us)

Minti se bolele samdhi kawan samdhi
(Dear father in law of my son,i hereby request you)

Suni samdhi araj humaar ae
(Listen to my request, oh father in law of my son)

Raur bitiyava more gharwa ke lachhmi
(Your daughter is Goddess Lakshmi for us)

Hoi raura samdhi humaar ae
(She has become ours, oh father in law of my son)
