Lyrics –
Brijwasi vallabh sada mere jeevan pran
(Udhav ji, I live for the people of Braj)
Inhe na tanak bisaari ho
(They might not be aware of this)
Mohe nand baba ki aan
(I swear on Nand Baba’s pride)
Maiyya baba ki saugandh khaaon
(I swear on my father and mother)
Braj chodh anat nahi jaaun
(I will never leave Braj)
Maiyya baba ki saugandh khaaon
(I swear on my father and mother)
Braj chodh anat naahi jaaun
(I will never leave Braj)
Braj ki kunjan mein galiyan mein van mein
(You will find me in each street and square of Braj; you will find me in the forests)
Braj ki kunjan mein galiyan mein van mein
(You will find me in each street and square of Braj; you will find me in the forests)
Paaoge moku har ek bhavan mein
(You will find me in every house)
Paaoge moku har ek bhavan mein
(You will find me in every house)
Braj ke karn karn mein darshan dikhaaun
(You will find me in every part of Braj)
Braj ke karn karn darshan dikhaaun
(You will find me in every part of Braj)
Chodh Braj ko anat nahi jaaun
(I will never leave Braj)
Gaiyaa bachhda aur giri kandraae
(Cows, calves, and mountains all are here)
Jamuna tat bansiwat ki shakhaaein
(The bank of Yamuna has the flute’s branches)
Radha ke sang raas rachaun
(I will dance with Radha)
Chodh Braj ko anat nahi jaaun
(I will never leave Braj)
Gopi gwala hai jitne hu saare
(All the Gopis(girls) and gwalas (milkmen))
Praan jaise lage moku pyaare
(They are dearer to me than my life)
Inke rin ke urin main na paaun
(I will never be able to return their favors)
Braj chodh ko anat nahi jaaun
(I will never leave Braj)
Udhao saachi hai meri ye baani
(Udhav, I am telling the truth)
Udhao saathi re
(Udhav, my friend)
Udhao saathi re
(Udhav, my friend)
Udhao saachi hai meri ye baani
(Udhav, I am telling the truth)
Rajte mopi ku moti hai paani
(I will always be indebted of your favors; I will worship you)
Bajraj ku main sheesh chadhaun
(I bow my head in front of you Brajraj)
Bajraj ku main mastak chadhaun
(I bow my head in front of you Brajraj)
Baba ki saugandh khaaon
(I swear on my father)
Maiyya baba ki saugandh khaaon
(I swear on my father and mother)
Braj chodh anat naahi jaaun
(I will never leave Braj)
Braj chodh anat nahi jaaun
(I will never leave Braj)
Braj chodh anat naahi jaaun
(I will never leave Braj)
