This is a Lok Bhajan from Braj, which is another form of Braj Folk. The taarz of the song is Languriya. Here the poet describes the beautiful friendship that Krishna and Sudama share. In this song, the chapter of Krishna-Sudama Leela where Krishna gives Sudama the entire land of the two worlds for having two handfuls of rice that Sudama brought along with him when he came to meet Krishna.

(Sudama had a few grains of rice wrapped in a torn cloth)
Jhatka deke shri Krishna ne tandul liye chhudhaye
(Shri Krishna took hold of the piece of cloth and took it away from Sudama)

(Krishna ate up two handful rice; Rukmani held his hand to stop him)
