This song is based on the Raaga Bilawal and is dedicated to Lord Shiva, and the occasion of his marriage.Shiva’s consort Parvathi is waiting to be wedded to Shiva and her friends are judgmental of Shiva’s ash smeared body and ascetic look. Later, when they know that it’s actually Mahadev who has come to marry Parvathi, they repeatedly tell Parvathi that she is blessed to have him as his groom. This song is supposed to have been sung by Ustad Tansen. This song is set to Jap Taal, with a 10 beat cycle.

(One who sits on deer skin, and wears clothes made of tiger skin)

Aankhen Ustad Tansen gun Shiv ji lagaiye aaj to hamaro bhaag bhole Shambhu aaye
