Tasrin Ara Rohman, aged 52 and married, comes from a family deeply connected to the world of music. Both her parents were accomplished folk singers, passing on their musical legacy to Tasrin and her two siblings. Her brother specializes in playing the tabla, while her sister is proficient in modern dance.
Tasrin’s journey in music began during her 6th-grade years, and her passion for the art form has only grown since then. She has a profound love for music and a strong desire to continually expand her knowledge and skills. Tasrin receives guidance from two gurus: Hafeza Begum for folk music and Naren Das for modern music.
In addition to her training, Tasrin is undergoing vocal training to sing on All India Radio, further honing her abilities as a vocalist. She embraces these opportunities for growth and development as she seeks to enhance her musical prowess.
