Tareef Khan

Tareef Khan(24) is the younger brother of Thane Khan, and has been learning music since childhood from brother. This 24-year-old talented man plays all instruments like Morchang, Khartal, Harmonium and Dholak. His group sings for all occasions like marriage and birthdays. Tareef is married and has a kid and wants his child to be a graduate but also wants his kids to pursue music. He is particularly fond of traditional raagas like Mhaad and Khamaj and their group believes in the philosophy of 6 raags and 30 raaginis, making It a total of 36 raagas. He is also fond of other traditional raagas like Sri Raag, Malkauns, Deepak, Goond Malhar, Megh Malhar and Bhairav. While music is the primary means of livelihood for him, he also engages in Agriculture now and then. So far, Tareef has performed in Europe, Denmark, Germany, Canada, and Spain in abroad and of course, all over India.
