Suryanarayan is 57 years old. He is also known as Pehalwan Saheb because he also performs Kushti. He lives in Pokharbhinda, Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. His grandfather was a Saint in Punjab. When Suryanarayan was 15 years old, his grandfather passed away. After his death, Suryanarayan decided to join the Kabir Ashram. He left his home and became a saint. In gurukul, he learnt music from his guru, and with a melodious voice, he now performs at many places with Harisharan.
