Sultan Singh Lodhi hails from from Kevlari Upadhyay village, Damoh. He sings and plays instruments for Diwari, Faag, and Bhajan performances. His craft was honed under his paternal uncle’s guidance and the regular bhajans at the revered Aasmani Mata Temple. He has been collaborating with Nisha Ji’s group for the past six years. Sultan believes music is vital for “santulan” (balance) in life and hopes that the future generations keep Bundeli music alive.
