Shiwani

Shiwani is a young and upcoming artist from Himachal Pradesh who was born and raised in Kullu district. Inspired by the local culture and the beautiful landscapes that make Himachal a place to visit for its visual spectrum, she is fond of putting her thoughts about nature into songs.

Shiwani completed her 12th-grade studies from the Senior Secondary school Sultanpur but couldn’t continue her education and had to move on to work as a receptionist at the Civil Hospital in Kullu due to unavoidable circumstances. She made visits to Mandi as well as various events at Kullu representing her school in competitions. She has also won various beauty pageants and titles like; Queen of Himachal 2k18, Miss Kullu 2k19, Supermodel of Himachal 2k19, etc. but these events are organized on an annual basis which doesn’t help much with the income.

Shiwani has also taken training in classical vocals at Sutradhar Kala Sangam where she met her guru; Pt. Vidyasagar Ji, but had to let it go again due to her timings for work at the hospital. At a very young age, Shiwani started to visualize herself as a professional singer and continues to prepare and write songs only to find opportunities to compose them. She plays the harmonium and guitar with undeniable finesse and is an inspiration to all the young women and artists aspiring to make an impact using their talent.
