Shiv Shankar

Shiv Shankar is 51 years old musician who belongs to the small village Basantpur of Uttar Pradesh he found his interest in music in his childhood he used to attend many folk gatherings in his neighbourhood. There he learnt about folk music and started playing manjira with other folk musicians. Now Shiv Shankar is a full-time folk musician and he regularly performs in local areas. For the last 15, he is playing manjira in Shatrugan’s group and his major income comes from his live performance.
