Shahrukh Khan is a young boy of nine who has learned various intricacies of music at such a juvenile age. He began learning from his father, Chugge Khan, who is also a renowned name in Jaisalmer, in the field of folk music. Shahrukh considers his father, who is also his guru, as his true inspiration for learning music.
Shahrukh, apart from his endearing persona, carries a confident attitude in his life, especially towards his music. Inevitably so, he has been able to learn and grasp various genres of music that are popular in the region. His incredible musical versatility and has guided his path in learning the different styles such as Sufi, Qawali as well as Marwari. He practices his craft on a daily basis through his vocal ability and the traditional instrument known as Harmonium. This regular practice known as ‘Riyaz’ has made a place in his schedule despite his school-going age. This clearly shows how dedicated he is towards his forte.
Shahrukh, along with his friends has made it a point to engage in his field of interest and make it an important part of his life. His musical journey has only begun and the struggles, as well as responsibilities, are yet to come.
