Shahjad Khan

Shahjad Khan is one of the instrumentalists from Sidhar Musician Band who has mastered multiple musical instruments. He mostly likes to play Morchang but has also gained a certain amount of proficiency in Khartal. He appreciates the Manganiyar music in its authenticity but also likes to work as an artist who makes fusion music. 

Shahjad Khan understands the importance of education as well as promotes it for the younger generations to come. Most of his earning come from music but due to the lack of opportunities and general support from the government, he believes that it is important to have another job which is why he has learned stenography as a skillset. 

During off season, the artists have to look for other jobs and sources of income but Shahjad sticks to his discipline of Riyaz every day and wants to establish the art form as a prosperous and adequate source of livelihood in his state.
