Roshan Lal

Coming from the same village as Yuvraj, Roshan Lal has been playing Dhol for 22 years now and is the latest of many generations of musicians from his family. Roshan Lal developed a keen interest in music as a child and kept his dream of pursuing the art alive as he joined Yuvraj’s group showcasing his skills as a musician at weddings and Nati parties. At the age of 48, he manages to earn a livelihood for his family and wants to pursue the art actively as he aims to support his culture and community to create a better environment for artists such as himself.
