Rehana, from Sumbal, Bandipora, is a distinguished musician with 15 years of experience, specializing in the sitar and tabla, and offering a touch of vocal performance. Holding a degree in Music and Fine Arts with a major in Classical Tabla, Rehana grew up in a musically enriched environment. Her foundational training came from Mohammad Yaqoob Shaikh, who introduced her to sufiyana music, while Amarjit Singh provided her expertise in tabla. Rehana has graced numerous stages across the nation, including her home state and Radio Kashmir, showcasing her exceptional talent and dedication to her craft.
