Ratiram Vishwakarma

Ratiram Vishwakarma, a carpenter, was deeply influenced by his father’s devotion to Dehati Bhajans and Ramayan Bhajans. With over 25 years of musical practice, Ratiram’s connection to music has been a constant throughout his life. He has performed with prominent artists like Jeetu Khare, which significantly shaped his musical journey. Despite facing setbacks, including financial struggles and language barriers that hindered his Akashvani qualification, Ratiram remained steadfast in pursuing his passion. He performs at weddings and music festivals, where his expertise in folk music shines through. His perseverance and dedication make him a key figure in the preservation of Bundeli music.
