Rajendra Singh Nayal

Rajendra, 55, hails from Mukteshwar in the Nainital district and has been involved in music for approximately 40 years. He is primarily a classical musician, skilled in singing, with the tabla as his main instrument, and also plays the harmonium. Inspired by his father, a folk singer he considers his first guru, Rajendra has dedicated the past 32 years to learning the tabla under Shri Pankaj Kumar Chaudhary from Assam. Additionally, he completed his Visharad in vocals from Lucknow Bhatkhande under the guidance of Vineet. A graded artist from All India Radio, Rajendra has performed in various places, including Delhi and regional events, with recordings featured on radio and Doordarshan. His passion for music continues to grow through performances and lifelong learning.
