Parsa Ram, 50, is the eldest and most experienced member of the group. He belongs to the Meghwal caste which is listed as the scheduled caste under the constitution of our country. He plays manjira and would like to learn other folk music instruments as well. Apart from music, he also does farming and labour to support the finances of the family. His father has always been a source of inspiration and motivation throughout his life. A musical environment allowed him to grasp the knowledge in a better way. Bhajans have always been an integral part of his life. they allow him to attain a sense of calmness and serenity.
On average, Parsa Ram does around 3-4 shows per month and gets around 1000-3000rs per show. He sees a website as a tool to expand the group’s reach and perform in front of a much wider audience.
