Panchdev

Panchdev belongs to a small village called Kanjhit, Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh. He is 56 years old. When he was ten years old there were so many thieves in his village. So, with his elder brother Panchdev, he stayed awake all night. During that time, his brother used to sing and he played Dholak along with his brother. That was the beginning of his music journey. After that he learnt Harmonium from his brother. And now from the last 30-35 years he is performing in local areas he sings different folk genres like Chapraiya, Bidesiya and Birha and his major income
