Om Prakash

The youngest artist in Yuvraj’s group, at the age of 31, Om Prakash manages to earn a living through farming. He plays Karnal (a long brass trumpet played in Northern India and Nepal) with undeniable prowess and actively seeks opportunities in this traditional art form, staying true to the culture in which he was born and brought up. He lives in a family of eight people whose livelihoods majorly depend on his shoulders including his three daughters. With his talent, he wishes to attain a better lifestyle for his family and community and present his melodious craft with dexterity while promoting his culture across the country.
