Munjaji Vishwanath Mutkule, a 21-year-old artist from Jintur, Parbhani, Maharashtra, has been passionate about music since childhood. With a deep connection to his roots, he plays the Pakhawaj and Harmonium and sings with devotion. Munjaji has been learning music for the past three years under the guidance of Parmeshwar Maharaj Jaybhay, focusing on traditional forms like Varkari and Abhang.
Having studied only up to class 12, Munjaji’s dedication to music goes beyond academics; it is the core of his life. Inspired by his mother, who sings, he seeks to carry forward the rich tradition of devotional music. Through his performances, he aims to spread dharm prachaar (the propagation of faith) through the Varkari Sampraday, using music as a powerful medium to connect with people and inspire spiritual awakening. For Munjaji, music is not just an art form but a sacred path to devotion and service.
