Mohit Kumar Arya, 21, is an accomplished musician from Almora with a keen interest in folk music, nurtured under the guidance of his mentor, Gopal Singh Chamyal. Inspired by his grandmother’s singing, Mohit developed a love for music early on and gained recognition by winning a local competition. He plays the Hudka and Dholak and performs folk dance. With several years of performing experience, including in Delhi, his dedication to learning and performing folk music continues to grow.
