Mahipal

Mahipal belongs to a small village called Nahar Khor of Fatehpur. A 52-year-old musician who has been playing Manjira for about 30 years, he also plays Dholak and Jhika in different folk genres like Natka and Faag. He also plays an essential role in his group as a chorus singer. His significant income comes from the live folk music shows, and he works as a labourer for some extra income.
