Khete Khan

Khete Khan is a multi-talented personality & Multi-Instrumentalist Musician. This 25 years old musician plays  Khartaal, harmonium, Dholak & Khartaal. Apart from playing these many instruments he also gives backing vocals in the group. He has been playing since the age of 12 years when he left education in 4th standard. Since then he has been a regular member of their squad, making new advancements in his skill set.

Currently, he is playing  Khartaal in the group. It is a very difficult instrument to learn as it takes a lot of energy to play the instrument, leaving the player completely exhausted in the end. He learned the art of playing  Khartaal from one of his uncles. He describes that the presence of a Khartaal Player increases the charm of the band and enriches the tonal quality of their live performance. He started learning to play Khartaal at the age of 4 as he wishes to master as many instruments as possible and contribute to the group in the best possible way. Being a multi-instrumentalist, he is often used as a replacement of the co-players in case another player is unwell or unable to play the instrument because of exhaustion or minor injuries. He wishes to make further advancements in his skill set and is keen to learn more & more. He dreams about travelling across India to showcase his skills and promote Rajasthani Folk music.
