Kalyan Bora

Kalyan Bora, 37, from Pithoragarh, has been involved in music for about 10-15 years. A singer and multi-instrumentalist, he plays the keyboard, harmonium, dholak, and tabla. His passion for music began in childhood, influenced by local cultural events like the historic mela in his region. Kalyan has received formal training in music, including Visharad from Bhatkhande Mahavidyalaya, Almora. Kalyan considers himself a lifelong learner, with Rajendra Singh Nayal as his guru. He is a graded artist of Akashvani and Doordarshan. He got into music during school, actively participating in events. He has performed at prestigious venues, including events attended by Prime Minister, Lal Qila, and Raj Bhavan, showcasing his talent across major regions of India.
