Ikbal Khan

Iklab Khan Langa is 21 and hails from a small, quaint village in Rajasthan. Presently, he lives in Jodhpur along with 10 other members of his family. Like most folk musicians in Rajasthan, Ikbal Khan has been brought up in a musical environment and almost everyone is an instrumentalist or a singer in his family. Ikbal Khan , the tabla player, is his guru. Aslam has studied till 8th standard but eventually left his studies to pursue his passion for music, but he is trying to revive his academic interests by learning English part-time. During his musical career, he has performed all over India and is soon going for his first International tour, to London with his uncle Sikander Khan. He was referred for this concert by Nawab Khan, a santoor player from Jodhpur. Aslam also plays dholak and wants to perform as much as he can in the future.
