Gopal Krishan

A young boy still making his way towards adulthood, Gopal Krishan is one of the maturing musical talents from a small village Rogna, located in the state of Himachal Pradesh. Along with great vocals, Gopal has become proficient in playing Karnal within a span of one year. He has already been with the group for over 2 years and looks to perform as well as explore his fascination and interest in the field of music.

To work on his passion for music and perform in places like Kullu and Manali, he requires permission to take leave from his school since he is currently studying in 9th grade. He took inspiration to play Karnal and be the one to take the family tradition forward from his father, who despite his ability in the art form, works as a tailor in order to earn a living for his family.

Being one of the youngest artists in the region, Gopal hasn’t decided upon his future in the field of music yet due to the unawareness and lack of scope in the region. His parents also encourage him to focus more on studies and assignments from the school. At a blooming age of 15, Gopal understands the importance of education as well as the development of his musical talent and wishes to make the best and most impactful decisions for his career in music.
