Ganpat Devram Londhe

Ganpat Devram Londhe, aged 47, a musician from Kaanur Pathaar, Taluka Parner, District Ahmednagar, is a farmer by profession but has been actively engaged in music for 25 years. He has studied up to the 5th standard. Ganpat started his musical career by watching different musical groups. He plays tuntuna and dholaki and sings along while playing, and he is an expert in Lavani music. Ganpat was tutored in music by Chaure Guruji, and his performances have ensured visits to other cities, where he has expressed his art before varied groups of people. He feels that music not only keeps humanity away from evil acts but also guides them spiritually and personally. Music, for Ganpat, is not a hobby but a source of sending out good messages to society. He remains dedicated to extending his musical endeavors, serving the community, and sharing the cultural and spiritual virtues of music.
