Dharma Ram

Dharma Ram, 18, is a young man and has been associated with Thakra Ram for more than 3 years. He lives in a village nearby Barmer city with his family of 5 members. Along with dancing, he does farming to support his family financially. He could not pursue education because of the fact that his father did not have enough money to support him in his studies.

Performing pad is something really close to his heart and he sees it with respect and dignity. He has got massive respect for his fellow artists and performers. On an average Dharma Ram gets around 2-3 shows per month and receives Rs 1000-2000 per show. He does not do it for the money, he is emotionally involved with the art. He has performed in almost all the major cities of Rajasthan and wishes to perform abroad.
