Bhaskar Yadav, a 35-year-old folk musician from Chhatarpur, has been passionate about music since childhood. His first guru was his father, who was also a music teacher. Bhaskar further honed his skills under the guidance of Urmila Pandey and Rajesh Tiwari. With a master’s degree in vocal music and proficiency in playing the Harmonium, he has become a dedicated artist and teacher, sharing his knowledge with young learners.

For Bhaskar, music is not just an art but a vital part of his life and livelihood. Among various Bundeli genres, Lamtiya holds a special place in his heart. Inspired by Urmila Pandey, he aspires to preserve and pass on the rich traditions of Bundeli folk music, ensuring its legacy continues for future generations.
