Bansi Ram, 80, is a vocalist and a dancer. He was interested in theatre and music since childhood. His guru was Sula Ram who hailed from Palampur. He taught him dancing and singing. He wishes to bring his group at an international level. He wishes to perform so that he can show the traditional folk Kangri music to the world. Irrespective of his old age, he is filled with energy and sings with his full heart and soul. He does not wish any change in the music but wants to spread it everywhere maintaining its authenticity.
