Angad Shirang Shinde

Angad Shirang Shinde, a 25-year-old artist from Alandi, Pune, Maharashtra, is a passionate musician deeply rooted in traditional music. After earning his BA in Arts, Angad has dedicated over 15 years to his musical journey. His inspiration came from his father, who first introduced him to this art form, and he has since refined his skills under the mentorship of Sugat Jadhav.

Angad excels at playing the Pakhavaj and is also a vocalist, focusing on Kirtan, Abhang Gayan, and Gavlan Gayan. His performances have taken him to esteemed places like Nashik and Rishikesh, where he expresses his devotion through music. For Angad, music transcends mere occupation; it is a profound source of joy. He aims to give back to the community by providing free music education, aspiring to inspire and cultivate the next generation of musicians while promoting the spiritual essence of traditional music.
