Amarnath

Amarnath was born in a family with a long line of folk musicians making his introduction to music and a passionate desire to pursue it as a skill inevitable, as he picked up the Nagada during his childhood. He had to start working as a carpenter after the completion of school in order to earn a livelihood. He revived his passion at the age of 21 and has been working with Sunder Singh and his group for six years. Along with the group he has managed to make his presence known as a performer all over the state of Himachal. With supportive family members and an experienced group of musicians, Amarnath aspires to turn his devotion to this field, into his primary source of income and make his contribution to music and the local culture visibly fruitful.
